Have you asked, or ever asked what purpose you live for daily? Intriguingly enough, you will find that a flock too many loiter around with so much unfigured, superficially believing that “hey, I have it all figured out.” You are lost in a bowl of Sichuan noodles, over capped with Sriracha sauce. It may come as a surprise when you really question yourself for dwelling on this legendary statement without an answer all along, nonetheless, you are headed the right way because…
Better late than sorry.
Throughout the course of your decorative life, you will be met with so many surprises ranging from ones that hurt you, laugh you or even laugh at you. Often, it’s these moments in our lives which define who we energetically are, allowing us to reorient our energy and focus to other avenues deemed worthy of work. And this is why we should never stop reflecting every moment that passes by without asking this crucial question:
“What am I living for, and have I been living exactly how I truthfully feel I should live?
If you answered in favor of the question, keep living exactly how you have been living by pursing more glimmer in the process. If this question lost you in the sauce, it’s fine, and it isn’t too late. Now is the time to change your decorum of life and examine how you can further enhance the quality of your parallel, moving simultaneously with so many other ones around you.
In life, there are certain crucial foundations we must all seize to accomplish and falling short of any, will derive a sense of lacklustre and dissatisfaction with ourselves.
These very important faculties include faith, family, school (education) and career.
I can spend the next several minutes discussing each point and why cutting short of one will be detrimental to the overall health of your life and yet, it still will not suffice. These following blocks are tremendously decisive, and momentously are the prerequisites why many lead unfulfilled and tumultuous lives. For many, these blocks may seem important as they are. Others might include ones also reckoned valuable. The gist of it all is: engrain what truly is valuable to you in life. What means most to you and why?
Why should faith act as an integral component in your life, and what does it truly mean? In a world where many are lost in the sauce knowingly or unknowingly, faith keeps you together. It provides a divine source of pure guidance that will only deter you away from harm’s way, and onto a path which naturally is the discourse away from trouble. Faith lays out a spectrum of commands and allows you to base your trust in unalloyed rules, firmly routing the true way of life and how it should be lived. It enables you rely on Allah (God), the one and only true deity which acts as the sole and never dimming torch. Faith strengthens you; it puts you in check when you fall short of your commands to Allah, and reroutes your path to one of definition and glory. Faith ultimately is the compass of living a peaceful and happily meaningful life. Best of all, it serves you as an everlasting, fortified backbone to rest on when you feel like breaking. Faith moves you from a superficial base of ideals which have been the root cause of all evil on many lives, to a divine constitution which expresses a life, grounded by perfect policies. If you feel down, demised or battered in one way or another, now is the time to really ask yourself a serious question, “who do I rely on in life, truthfully and wholeheartedly, to remedy the pain and sorrow?”
We then sail towards family and that is the second most important backbone we must also preserve and tend to. In a world where many have disowned their families and left their parents on false claims of seeking a “better independent life,” reality speaks otherwise. You still are craving to be with them. We have lost so much of life’s moments with those we have always declared to love—family. There is no on earth who will ever love you as much as those who nurtured you. People, even the ones who you loved and fell in love with you, can walk away from you. Not your family. Nothing will feel better than your first family, and the family you intend on making next, will mean nothing if you failed the first.
For a wide majority of us, success often means attending the best school and ensuring that we leave “done,” not undone. Failure to achieve this stamp will result in a life full of emptiness and nothing really to push oneself towards for the better. I am not implying that to shine, you must attend school. I am stamping that education is a must and you should continuously engage in reaping knowledge. What I want to hone on is the fact that you and I must do something with our lives, and that is to advocate in a field which puts our souls on fire. For us to take part in a realm of knowledge with others in the process, so we all benefit from each other. For us to build connections and moments with our friends. This is why the school environment is a beautiful stage in our lives. And this can be in any setting, too.
The main pin is found what you love and learn more about it, while engaging with the world.
Finally, we move to the real world and that is our careers. This is where you and I gleefully allow for what we inherited, rain down upon those we love—after having used it on ourselves first. This is where we first learn and adapt to the newer realities we were oblivious of previously. It is at this phase does our minds willingly transcend a newer mindset—one intertwined with reason and growth. There is a rule of life we must all agree to and always acknowledge and that is: life will never give you exactly what you are searching for. No one wants to leave not having utilized their true passion for the greater bliss of life.
Never stop asking yourself,
“What am I living for, and have I been living exactly how I truthfully feel I should live?
And remember, sincerity and truthfulness must away accompany you.
